Ronald D. Spaur, 54, of Baudette, died, Thursday August 17, 2006. He was born on Sept. 28, 1951 in Aberdeen, Washington to William and Maxine (Westeer) Spaur. Ron served four years in the US Army from 1970 to 1974. Following his service in the US Army he traveled around for awhile before marrying and having children. Ron was employed at many different places throughout his working career, but mostly he worked at a laborer in different factories.
Ron was a very laid back and relaxed man, that would give the shirt off of his back to anyone that need it if the need arose. One of his favorite things to do was to sit around and talk about cars; he was very knowledgeable about cars. Some of his other hobbies where camping, fishing and being outdoors.
Ron had a passion for his grandchildren and loved to spend time with them whenever he could. He just loved to be with them and he would talk to everyone about his grandchildren.
