Age 59, passed away of an accidental death on February 25, 2006. Ron was born on April 29, 1946 in Portland, MI the son of Bernard and Virginia (Fedewa) Meyers. He started out working at Oldsmobile, and then followed his love of farming. He also delivered the Lansing State Journal for 13 1/2 years. Ron was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Ionia. He enjoyed farming, tractor pulling and was President of Clintonia Antique Farm Power Club for 4 years. He also loved and enjoyed being with his children and grandsons. Ron enjoyed talking to his friends and neighbors, and anyone else who was willing to talk and listen. He also enjoyed cruising the country roads looking at crops, farms and old machinery. He was preceded in death by his father, Bernie; sister, Maureen; brother, Bobby. Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Linda Meyers; daughters, Missy (Bryan) Fossler of Ionia and Debbie Meyers of Lyons; sons, Danny (friend Sarah) Meyers and Chris (Crippy) Meyers, both of Lyons; 3 grandsons, twins Jacob and Alex, and Logan Fossler; mother, Virginia Meyers; sisters, Sue (George) Scarbrough and Diane Fawley; brothers, Mike (Linda) Meyers, Gary (fiancee Bernie) Meyers, Dave Meyers, Kevin (Teresa) Meyers and Denny Meyers; several nieces and nephews.
