Age 62. Ron a loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away after a courageous battle against interstitial pulmonary fibrous on Wednesday, July 26, 2006. Ron was born February 21, 1944 the son of Donald and Ruth Fowler. He attended St. Louis High School, was a graduate of Ferris State University and a Vietnam veteran. Ron spent the majority of his working life as a manager and a Senior Buyer for General Motors. He enjoyed bowling, woodworking, golfing, camping, boating and traveling. He was member of St. Joseph Society, Knights of Columbus # 2890, and a lifetime member of the Fowler, Pewamo, Westphalia V.F.W. Post #3733. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ron is survived by his wife of 41 years, Margaret and their children, Bryan (Patti) Fowler of Mt. Pleasant and Christine Fowler of Westphalia; brothers: Dan (Paula) Fowler of Kentwood, Gael Fowler of St. Louis, Darryl (Pam) Fowler of St. Louis; Grandchildren, Rachel and Brittany Fowler with special adopted family, Constance, Katherine, and Chad Klein were also a great source of joy to him.
