Ronald “Ronnie” Clay Martin of Cherryville, Missouri left this life on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 2 days. He was born October 13, 1957 in St. Louis, Missouri to Glen Junior Martin and Rose Marie Green Martin.

Ronnie graduated from Viburnum High School and later worked at Brown Shoe Company.

He loved playing the guitar, watching all types of sports, playing basketball and four-wheeling. One of his most favorite foods was his mother’s mashed potatoes.

Ronnie enjoyed his family and especially his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Martin of Cherryville, MO; one sister, Glenda Nelson of Arnold, MO; uncles, Joe Green and wife Glenda and Jimmie Green all of Davisville, MO, Curtis Green and wife Mary of St. Charles, MO, Harold Green and wife Linda of Cherryville, MO and Bob Martin and wife Charlotte of Eureka, MO; aunts, Erma Dunn and husband Steve of Rolla, MO, Oma Smith and Barbara Tidwell of Cherryville, MO, Cleta Hartman and husband Jim of Lebanon, MO, Doris Wilkinson and Melba Martin of Davisville, MO; two nieces, Tonya Carnell-Munie and Heather Fries and husband Gary; one great nephew, Eric Munie; three great nieces, Melanie Munie, Marina Fries and Cianna Fries; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Martin; brother in-law, Gary Nelson; uncles, John Green Jr. and wife Shirley, Kenneth Green, Oren Martin, Buck Martin, Noel Martin, Paul Smith and Leroy Tidwell; aunts, Ada Thorpe, Lorraine Mobray and Norine Martin.

The Family received friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Honored to be casket bearers were Gary Fries, Joe Green, Claude Nance, Stanley Green, Eric Munie and Harold Green.
