Rodney Lynn Knutson, 50, of Dayton, MN, died Friday, August 5, 2005, as a result of a car accident south of Wannaska. He was born Aug. 8, 1954 in Roseau, MN to Clarence and Jessie (Hall) Knutson. He was baptized and confirmed at Moe Lutheran Church. He graduated from Roseau High School in 1973, throughout High School he worked for several farmers in the area. He served in the U.S Army from 1973 until 1976. After serving in the Army he went to work for Hydra-Mac INC; Anderson Power & Equipment; Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Fridge-Aire, Johansen Bus Company driving bus; and he was currently employed at Lano Equipment in Anoka, MN. He loved to drive his 4-Wheeler with his friends and family, doing mechanical work, boating, fishing and camping. Survivors include his daughter Kaley Knutson of Grand Forks, ND; mother, Jessie Knutson of Roseau, MN; brothers, Wayne (Mary Jo) Knutson of Warroad, MN; Jeff (Shari) Knutson of Thief River Falls, MN; Dan (Stephanie) Knutson of Glenwood, MN; sister, Janice Sharbonno of Clinton, PA; grandson, Blake Allen Batzer Grand Forks, ND; several nieces, nephew’s, great nieces and nephews, significant other, Tes Sweeney of Dayton, MN; god daughter, Bonnie Knutson. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father Clarence Knutson, brother, Keith Knutson; daughter, Misty Dawn Knutson (Infant); nephew Keith Knutson, Jr.
