Roberta Marie “Bobbette” Zattoni, age 83, of Fayal Twp. Ely Lake died unexpectedly Monday, April 6, 2015 in her home. She was born August 1, 1931 in Biwabik, the daughter of Robert and Helen (Maki) Kulaszewicz and was a graduate of Biwabik High School. Roberta married Rudolph “Rudy” Zattoni on May 2, 1953 in Biwabik, and they have resided on Ely Lake since 1954. She was employed as the Fayal Township Clerk for 10 years and served as the assistant clerk in her retirement. Bobbette was a member of the Resurrection Catholic Church in Eveleth, the Catholic Daughters Court St. Margaret # 1888, the Trentini Club, The Gilbert VFW Woman’s Auxiliary, and Woman’s Life. She loved to read, was very generous in her giving to many charities, was an active volunteer with the VFW Auxiliary Fundraisers, and spent hours on her glider swing in the front yard.
