Age 69, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. Robert was born on January 8, 1942 the son of Kenneth and Nora (Lowery) Maus. He graduated from Lyons School and then served as a Medic during the Vietnam War. He married Yvonne Jansen in 1962. Bob was a proud father of his children Alan and Angie. He worked and retired as a Truck Dispatcher at ATL. After retirement Bob spent time gardening and selling his produce at local farm markets. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and often told stories with exaggerated truth. He spent his life with his lifelong partner, Yvonne. They enjoyed everything together, especially summers at the lake with beloved friends. Bob loved to attend his grand kids sporting events and always called to check in on everyone. He will be greatly missed by his family. He is preceded in death by his parents; niece, Bobbi Johnston and nephew, Ryan Meyers. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Yvonne; children, Alan (Barb) Maus and Angie (Jeff) Beckhold; grandchildren, Trevor Maus, Mitch Maus, Hayden Maus, Aurora Beckhold and Brody Beckhold; siblings, Linda (Robert) Meyers; sisters-in-law Brenda (Wes) Davids and Joyce (Gerald) Segerlind; many nieces, nephews and a special dog, Jazzy.
