Age 69, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing and was a member of the Ionia Hunt and Fish Club. He also loved going to his cabin at Houghton Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Wilma; children Robert (Viola) Waters, Lynda (Joe) Wharry and Brian (Karen) Waters all of Ionia; grandchildren Ali (Adam) Waters, Joe and Nick Wharry, Ashley and Tyler Waters; step-grandchildren Lindy (Art) Trierweiler, Shannon (Heather) Wolcott and Bobby (Amy) Wolcott; 10 step-great grandchildren; sisters Janet (David) Seidelman of Ionia and Barb (Dorrance) Hurlbut of Langston; uncle, Glenn (Dorothy) Waters of Belding; several nieces and nephews.
