Robert “Bobby” Ray Moxley, 88, of Damascus, Maryland, died peacefully at home, Thursday Nov. 30, 2017. He was born in Clagettsville, MD  Aug. 4, 1929 to the late Robert H. and Edna V. Moxley. He married Agnes L. Watkins on Jan. 16, 1951. They were married 57 years until her passing in Oct. 2008. They had three children, Patrick (Paula), Daniel (Deb) and Lynn (Steve). His beloved daughter, Lynn predeceased him in Sept. 2013. He was the much loved “GranBobby” to five grandchildren, Richard, Angie, Brent, Shaun and Katie, nine great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Bobby is also survived by sisters Carole, Diane, Sharon and brother Timmy. He was predeceased by a sister, Betty and a brother, Bunny. He will be remembered by a large extended family and many “adopted” children and grandchildren.

Bobby graduated from Damascus High School in 1947 and enlisted in the Army Air Force in August of that year. He was a participant in the Berlin Airlift.

Bobby worked his entire career as a concrete contractor. He retired from Robert R. Moxley & Sons in 1992.
