Robert Louis Malone, 94 of Rolla, Mo., passed away August 14, 2014 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Mo.
Robert Malone is a World War II Veteran. He was born August 10, 1920 in McMinnville, Tennessee to Yancy and Mary J. Dixon Malone. He was united in marriage to Jewel Christine Beagles to whom Roberta Louise Hays was born. Robert Malone had two sisters Wilma and Lila, two brothers Wallace and James Hobby.
Robert Malone is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Wilma who passed away in infancy, Lila McGlothlin, brother; James along with two wives; Jewel Tine and Virginia and a beloved daughter Roberta Bert Hays.
Robert leaves behind a long legacy with his family, grandsons Ronnie and Paula Brandt of Kevil, Kentucky; Robert and Melinda Walker of Rolla, Mo., Susan and Robin Hinson of Rolla, John Street of St. James. Along with many nieces and nephews, 19 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren.
Robert was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of St. James. After serving our country in WW II, he was a successful grocer. After his retirement he became a Senior Companion where he made many lifelong friends.
Robert Malone was a blessing to his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
