Robert and Sandra raised four sons, Scott Cropper, Robert Jr., Timothy Potter, and Christopher Wilson Sr.
He worked as a factory laborer at Mineral Pigments in Beltsville from 1972 until his retirement in 2012.
Robert was preceded in death by his father John, his mother Dorothy, and his brother Ernest. He is survived by his wife Sandra, his four sons, Scott, Robert Jr., Timothy, and Christopher Sr., his sisters Becky, Kathy, and Nancy, his grandchildren Kylie, Lexi and Emma, and his great-grandson Christopher Jr.
