Post #4090 and the American Legion in Holt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, worked at Holt Public Schools for 22 years and a avid Detroit Tigers fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert, niece Kelly Pline and brother-in-law, James Miller. Surviving are his sons Ronald and Robert (fiancee Meghan Frazer) both of Portland; mother Geraldine Hodge of Portland; sisters Irene Miller of Woodland, Connie (Chuck) Carr, Linda (Doug) Brown, and Jane (Keith) Pline all of Portland; brothers Gary (Barb) Hodge of Portland, William (Sharon) Hodge of Flint, Ronald (Sue) Hodge of Grand Ledge and Mike (Sherry) Hodge of Portland; special friends Larry Badder, Craig Hoppes, all of Papa Hodges kids and his special buddy Sarge.
