Robert Leo Griesenauer passed away on March 2, 2021 at the age of 90.
Robert was born August 8, 1930 in Portage DeSiox to the late Leo and Agnes Griesenauer nee Roettger.
Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War in the 92 artillery field. Robert was a member of the Wentzville American Legion for over 50 years, he was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and a member of the church choir. Robert loved being outside working in the yard. He loved his family especially his grandchildren, he was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and a great friend to all.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years Gladys Griesenauer nee Herriman of Wright City, MO; two sons, Rick (Patty) Griesenauer of Warrenton, MO, Randy Griesenauer of Wright City, MO; granddaughter, Megan Griesenauer; grandson, Jacob Griesenauer and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Griesenauer, mother, Agnes Griesenauer 3 brothers and 2 sisters. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
