Robert retired from the U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant serving in Alaska, Georgia and Germany and also retired from the U.S. Postal service where he was a rural carrier for the Grand Ledge Post Office. He enjoyed cooking, hunting and a occasional trip to the casino. Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Sandy; daughters Tori Blair and Libby Blair; brothers Rick (Carol) Blair of Virginia and Dan (Rhonda) Blair of Arizona; sisters-in-law Pam (Phillip) McCrum of Portland and Barb (Bill) Case of Lapeer; several nieces and nephews.
