Robert F Driscoll Jr, 65, of Portland, passed away at his home on Oct. 9, 2013 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born January 17, 1948 in Portland ME, a son of the late Robert F and Marjorie (Sylvester) Driscoll. Robert attended Portland area schools including Portland High School. He received degrees from both University of Southern Maine and Southern Maine Technical College.
A Vietnam Veteran, he was a member of the Portland Fire Department for 23 years. After retiring from the fire department, he worked at Walmart in Falmouth where he enjoyed manning the jewelry counter and making friends while greeting.
He was an Eagle Scout, and a founding member of TKE at Gorham State College.
