Robert Daniel Theissen, 23, of Morrison, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Morrison, Missouri.
Mr. Theissen was born in Hermann, Missouri on November 14, 1988, the son of the late Douglas Theissen and Teresa (Lotshaw) Riley who survives at High Ridge, Missouri.
Robert is also survived by his sisters Brittney Theissen of Gasconade, Ashley Bell & husband Jason of Sullivan and Shyanna Riley of High Ridge, his grandmother Donna Theissen of Hermann, his grandfather Daniel Lotshaw of Chamois, by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was a member of the Local Union 840. He worked as a hod carrier for Heitcamp Masonary of Columbia. He also worked part time at Alco in stocking and a cashier.
Robert while in high school excelled in football helping his team to win Districts and advance to semi-finals of the state playoffs his senior year in 2006. That year they won two playoff games losing the last one. It was heartbreaking for all the boys. Robert had so much passion for the game of football and always gave it his all. That year they posted the most wins in Hermann School history of 11 and went the farthest any team in Hermann history has ever gone. He loved the outdoors, always on the go with all his buddies, hunting, fishing, bowling,and trapping. Robert was a smart, friendly, loving, funny, passionate young man who had a heart of gold and who touched the lives and hearts of many and will be dearly missed by all.
