Age 76, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2013. He was born on August 26, 1937 in Lansing, MI the son of Fred and Evelyn (Sorenson) Jones. Mr. Jones owned and operated Builders Lumber, which opened in 1955, and Circle J. Ranch, which was started in 1984. Robert was a member of Ducks Unlimited, volunteered with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, and was a measurer for Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett. He loved the outdoors, loved to hunt (especially sheep), hunted worldwide, and was proud of his world class trophy room. Bob married Sandra Merrill on October 25, 1958. Preceding him in death were his father, Fred Jones; son, Kenneth “KC” Jones. Surviving are his wife, Sandra Jones; children, Dave (Linda) Jones, Vicki (Randy) Morey, and Gwen (Tom) Colpetsir; grandchildren, Misty (Ron) Myers, Scott (Jen) Roberts, Krystal (Eben) Krausz, Kayla Morey, Shanna (Ted) Foltz, Randy (Tabitha) Morey, Jr., Adrienne (Rob) Lee, Ryan Jones, Ashleigh Colpetsir, TS (Megan) Colpetsir, and Travis Colpetsir; 10 great grandchildren; mother, Evelyn Jones; sister, Linda McClelland; brother, Richard (Kathy) Jones and many nieces and nephews.
