Robert C. (Bob) Walker of Easton, MD: Bob rode off into the sunset on December 26, 2016. He was 82 years old.
Born August 26, 1934, he was the son of the late R. Lee and Mildred Whitby Walker. Bob worked for McMahan Oil Co. driving a tractor trailer. He then went into the Pest Control business with his father. In 1990, he started his own Bob Walker Pest Control.
Bob was a member of the Paint Horse Club, Appaloosa Horse Club, and several horse associations. His hobbies included judging and showing horses on the East Coast and in the Midwest. He was active in the Bill Mills Trail Ride at Fair Hill for 45 years. He enjoyed many of his spotted farm animals.
On July 22, 1954, he married the love of his life, Carolyn Shortall. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Walker of Largo, FL and a son, Clint Walker and his wife Adina of Barclay, MD. He leaves four grandchildren: Megan Simms, Allen Walker, Korin Houdson, and Kristie Veit; eight great grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Walker and his wife Phyllis of Cambridge, MD. He was preceded in death by a son, C.L. Walker; and three brothers: James, Wayne and Donald Walker.
