Robert Jon “BJ” Bork (59) of Oslo, was born in Park River, ND October 9, 1956, and passed away unexpectedly from an aortic aneurysm while at home, August 13, 2016.
BJ attended public schools in Park River, ND and from 4th grade on in Oslo, MN graduating in 1974. He then attended ITT Academy in Chicago for electronics. He loved what he did; two-way radios, computers and everything electronic. BJ was a gifted sound engineer and, like his father, was “into music”. Although he did not play an instrument, he had a “great ear” and combined this with his electronics knowledge he produced music that was heard and enjoyed by tens of thousands – having worked the past 28 years with his brothers putting on live performances throughout the region.
BJ was preceded in death by his parents; Robert Kay and Juanita Mae, infant brother Christopher and brother-in-law, Robert Carpenter.
