Richard (Rick) Kinsey of Wentzville, MO took the final step of his journey on Feb 14th, 2023 at the age of 84 years. He leaves behind his beloved wife Loretta Kinsey of 62 years. He also leaves behind 3 children, Kim Vallery and her spouse Sam of Hot Springs, AR, Kelly Davis and her spouse Ted of Moscow Mils, MO, and Kyle Kinsey and his spouse Janie of Minneapolis, MN; 10 Grandchildren, Todd Vallery and his spouse Kaylene, Tyler Vallery, Thane Vallery, Julia Davis, Jeffery Davis, Jenna Davis, Karly Kinsey, Kenna Kinsey, Adelia Hancock, and Spencer Hancock; 4 Great Grandchildren, Cade Vallery, Kye Vallery, Kort Vallery, and Oliver Vallery; a brother James (Jack) Polk Kinsey of Tyler, TX.
Richard (Rick) Henry Baxter Kinsey was born in Tyler, TX March 13th , 1938, to Ballie Mae and Henry Huddle Baxter Kinsey. After graduating high school, Rick joined the US Navy where he served 4 years aboard a submarine, the USS Aspro. Following his active-duty military service, Rick worked in the Tire Equipment and Retreading Industry doing both service and sales. He earned numerous awards during his very successful sales career.
In the final weeks of his life, he shared with his family that he spent his time thinking about Heaven. Rick chose to follow the footsteps of Jesus and remained faithful to that choice until his passing.
