Cape Elizabeth – Richard Paul Chamberlain, 52, of Cape Elizabeth passed away at his home on November 14, 2013. He was born on November 20, 1960 in Biddeford, the son of Paul and Rita (Pierce) Chamberlain. He grew up in Cape Elizabeth and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School in 1979.
After high school, Richard attended the University of Maine at Orono and joined the fraternity of his older brother Robert – Sigma Phi Epsilon. Richard transferred to and graduated from the University of Southern Maine earning a degree in history. He worked for many years in grocery store management for Hannaford Bros. Richard loved reading and movies, was a Civil War history buff and was a die-hard Patriots, Red Sox and Celtics fan.
