Bath- Richard “Dick” P. Keegan Sr., 66, of High Street died Friday, November 19, 2010 at his residence.
He was born in Bath on September 7, 1944, the son of John “Jack” J. Jr. and Geraldine(Andrews) Keegan.
He attended Bath schools and graduated from Cheverus High School in 1963. He attended St. Philip Neri Seminary in Boston and graduated from Bliss Business College in Lewiston. On April 19, 1969 he married Donna Stevens and was employed at Bath Iron Works in the payroll department. He was employed for the State of Maine in the Taxation Department, Grants in Portland, and Steego Auto Parts in Lisbon, Brunswick and later in Bath. In 1994 he was employed at Shaw’s Supermarket in the maintenance department in Bath and transferred to Brunswick where he was currently employed.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bath.
He is survived by one son, Richard P. Keegan, Jr. of Bath, one daughter, Jennifer White of Sanford, one sister, Nancy K. Horton of Bath, three granddaughters, Taylor, Marisa and Tristan White and one nephew, Tom Horton of Bath and one niece Lynn Provencher of Connecticut.
