Richard L. Curran, 72 passed away on February 19, 2014 in Portland. He was born in Portland to the late William Jr. and Dorothea (Goodrich) Curran. Dick graduated from Deering High School and served in the Air Force. He worked for American Can Co. until they closed and then for the State of Maine until his retirement. He loved to spend summers at his camp on Pushaw Lake in Orono.
He was predeceased by his wife Joyce in 1998 and brother William III in 2006. He is survived by his daughters Cynthia of Old Orchard Beach and Stefanie of Windham, his sisters Carole Curran and Eleanore Nelson, as well as several nieces and nephews. And close friends David Pike and Peter Bryant. Special thanks to the staff at Wendy’s on Riverside St, Portland for taking such good care of him.
