Surviving are brothers George and Joe Smith of Portland, Charles Smith of Mulliken; sisters, Helen Simon of Pewamo, Ruthann (Alban) Hengesbach of Westphalia, Jean Van Ostran of Lansing, Rosemary Simon and Julie (Dan) Leonard of Portland; brother-in-law Ford Scheurer of Ionia; sister-in-laws Gail Smith from Grand Ledge, and Christine Smith from Westphalia; great aunt Esther Schrauben of Portland; many nieces and nephews and cousins.
