Richard Lawrence Anderson, age 77, lifelong resident of Virginia died Friday, January 25, 2013 peacefully in his home. He was born November 16, 1935, in Virginia the son of George and Lydia (Hill) Anderson. He graduated from Virginia High School, and attended Dunwoody Institute where he studied Drafting. Richard was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as a self-employed house painter.

Richard is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters: Shirley Zortich, Ethel Skrinner, and Geraldine Halsey; and four brothers: Robert, Donald, Rodney, and Glen.
