Reuben G. Risteigen passed away at the Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota on February 15, 2004 at the age of 78.
Reuben was born on January 30, 1926 at Oslo, Minnesota the son of Thorsten and Thora (Thorstenson) Risteigen. He was a life long resident of the Oslo community.
Reuben farmed for a living and enjoyed gardening. Reuben also served his country in the Army during WW II.
Left to mourn his passing is a brother Amund (Agnes) of Oslo, Minnesota and three sisters, Gladys Haarstad of Crookston, Minnesota, Alpha (Norman) Liedberg of Thief River Falls, Minnesota and Ruth Liedberg of Goodridge, Minnesota. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Halvor and Norman and sisters Thelma Liedberg and Helen Loftus.
FUNEARL: 2:00 PM on Friday, February 20, 2004 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Oslo, MN.
