Obituary
Reubelene Cope Blaisdell passed away on February 16, 2019 at the age of 97. She is survived by her five daughters, Delores June (Donald) Boone, Wanda Ruth (Donald) Jordan, Rita Benskin, Reba Kay (Bill) McCollum, Donna Sue (Neal) Toedebusch; 15 grandchildren Kathy Boone, Cheryl Bass, Susan Jordan, Stacy Hager; Richard Boone, Thomas Boone, Terry Jordan, Daniel Jordan, Timothy Jordan, Clint Benskin, Chad Benskin, Jason Mulligan, Jared Mulligan, Ken Toedebusch, Randy Toedebusch; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, Reuben Dillion, mother, Coral Dillion, 1st husband, George Thomas Cope, 2nd husband, Worthy Blaisdell, son-in-law, Alfred Benskin. Ruebelene was married to George Thomas Cope on September 9, 1939 they enjoyed 36 years of marriage, when George passed away at 62. “Ruby” remarried Worthy Blaisdell on December 23, 1977. They were happily married for 23 years. They both enjoyed playing golf every day, going fishing, and dancing and playing cards. They both worked at the military academy in Mexico for quite a few years. They enjoyed a very active life until Worthy passed away on May 16, 2000. She kept herself busy gardening, playing her organ and singing, playing cards and goin to the senior center in Mexico daily. After a bad fall where she broke several ribs, she moved in with her middle daughter, Rita for 2 years. Eventually she was moved to Pin Oak Nursing Home in Mexico where she passed on Saturday, February 16, 2019. She was born on 9/27/1921, and amazingly passed away at 9:27pm, at the age of 97.
