Regina M. Moore, 83, of Toddville passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at her home. She was born in Toddville on December 30, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Orem E. Jones and Lelia Moore Jones.
Mrs. Moore attended South Dorchester High School. On November 27, 1954, she married Charles L. “Lindy” Moore who passed away on April 14, 1997. She worked for numerous crab factories picking crab. The family like to say a special thank you to Dr. J and Amedysis staff partially her wonderful nurse Mary Jo Paul and Coastal Hospice.
She is survived by a son Darryl Jay Moore of Toddville, three daughters Wanda Ruark of Cambridge, Terri Henry (Wade) of East New Market, and Laura Perez (Joseph) of Cambridge, grandson Scott Shores (Kim), great granddaughter Lilah Shores, a sister Ella Maggard (Wendell) of Wise, VA, a nephew Jamie Pritchett and other nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and her husband, Mrs. Moore is preceded in death by a two sisters Jeanette Pritchett (Wallace), Miriam Morris (Bill) and a son in law Wayne Ruark.
