Mr. Raymond J. Korman, 100, of Rhineland, Missouri, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Frene Valley Health Center, Hermann, Missouri.
Mr. Korman was born in Americus, Missouri on December 31, 1909, the son of the late John B. and Amelia F. (Weibring) Korman.
He was the widower of Veronica C. (Lauer) Korman. They were married May 1, 1934 at Starkenburg, Missouri, she preceded him in death.
Raymond is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Sperry & husband Richard of Hermann, daughter Carolyn Winthorst & husband Jerome of Jefferson City, son Larry Korman & wife Charlene of Rhineland, daughter Mary Bristol & husband Charles of Rhineland, daughter Amelia Doss & husband Danny of Barnhart, Missouri, sister Marcella Gardner, 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and four step great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, by a brother Lewis Korman and sisters Arline Lauer, Hilda Overkamp, Helen Overkamp and Ruth Devine and by a grandson Steven Sperry.
He was a member of St. Martin’s Church Starkenburg, Missouri and Our Lady of Sorrows Shrine and was a farmer his whole life.
