He was born September 18, 1935 in Stonyhill MO. He was married to his wife Ruth Krull (Hoefft) on November 26, 1988.
Ray worked for General Motors for more than 30 years (1953-1983) in St. Louis Mo. & Bowling Green, KY. Ray retired in 1983. While working for General Motors Ray also farmed with his sons in and around the Swiss area. During retirement, Ray moved with his wife Ruth to Deer Park, WA. where they lived for 10 years. They returned to Swiss, MO in 1999, where he currently resided.
