Ranceford “Rance” R. Medlock, 70, of Davisville, MO passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Gibbs Care Center. He was born December 26, 1940 at Darien, Missouri to Roscoe and Violet (Schafer) Medlock. On April 5, 1958 in Salem, MO he was united in marriage to Lois Wilkinson and to this union three sons was born.
He attended Center Ridge Pentecostal Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and following the game of the St. Louis Cardinals. Most of all he enjoyed and loved his family and his grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of fifty-six years, Lois Medlock; three sons, Steven Medlock and wife Angela of Goodman, MO, Mike Medlock and wife Kim and Tim Medlock and wife Amy all of Davisville, MO; one brother, Bob Medlock and wife Linda of the Lake of the Ozarks, MO; three sisters, Josephine McDonald and husband Max of Jadwin, MO, Pat Jacob of Texas and Dena Adams and husband Gary of Valley Park, MO; five grandchildren, Angel, Devin, Eli, Cole and Jasmine; one great-grand-daughter, Serenity; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Juanita Pyatt and husband Noah, Leon Wilkinson and Pat Wilkinson all of Cherryville, MO, Kenneth Wilkinson and wife Doris of Davisville, MO, Freda Hunter of St. Peters, MO, and Rilma Wilkinson of Cuba, MO; other relatives and many friends.
Those preceding him in death were his parents, brothers-in-law, Jim Jacob, Lloyd Hunter, Tim Wilkinson, Clyde Wilkinson and Plas Wilkinson and wife Jean.
He will be missed by all those left behind, but with the thought that he is in a better place.
