Mr. Ralph Henry Sellenschutter, 98, of Hermann, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Frene Valley Health Center, Hermann, Missouri.
Mr. Sellenschutter was born in Chamois, Missouri on March 28, 1912, the son of the late William C. and Malinda A. (Dothage) Sellenschutter.
He went to college for four years at Central Missouri where he was Valedictorian in 1939 and one year at Georgia Tech. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1942 and served until 1946 where he held rank as a Technician Sgt. Third Grade.
He was the widower of Sophia “Nan” C. (Troetschler) Sellenschutter. They were married August 14, 1955 at St. Paul U.C.C., Hermann, MO, she preceded him in death on July 14, 2006.
He is survived by nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and by a brother Leroy Sellenschutter.
