Obituary
Ralph Barrale passed away on October 9, 2018 at the age of 94. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie Barrale nee Busalaki of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; He is survived by his daughter, JoAnn (Richard) Rice of Huntsville, AL; two sons, Ralph (Kathleen) Barrale Jr. of Wentzville, MO, Lari (Debra) Barrale of Cape Coral, FL; brother, Vincent Barrale; numerous, nieces and nephews; 7, grandchildren; 13, great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Father, Salvator Barrale, mother, Josephine Barrale nee Palazzolo, brother, Peter Barrale, sisters, Theresa Lucido, Josephine Biancardi, Fannie Mroczkowski. Ralph Barrale, proudly served his country in World War II in the United States Army. As a veteran, he served in the 1st Army, 9th Army and 3rd Army under Lieutenant General George S. Patton. Ralph was stationed in Europe and landed on Utah Beach and he was awarded 4 Bronze Stars for his service. He was a past Commander of VFW Post 10350, Lake Saint Louis and also member of the Color Guard. Ralph was a member in the following organizations, Battle of the Bulge Chapter, American Legion Post 323, Wentzville, MO. Charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council 10154, Saint Patrick Knight of Columbus 4th degree, Assembly 2620, Saint Patrick Nights of Columbus Honor Guard, Lake Saint Louis Thursday night cook-out group, Lake Saint Louis Pontooneers, Bingo Caller at the Green Lantern Senior Center, Wentzville, MO. and Chairman of the Lake Saint Louis Veteran’s Memorial Committee. Ralph was involved in local projects including changing the name of I-70 south service road from Saint Charles to Warrenton to “Veteran’s Memorial Parkway” and “Veteran’s Memorial Park” in Lake Saint Louis, MO. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
