Priscilla Mac Ellis was born in Memphis, Tennessee to Everlina Scruggs and James Wooten, both of Olive Branch, Mississippi.

Priscilla was raised by loving parents, James Wooten and Everlina Scruggs; and her late grandmother, Lucy Scruggs.

Priscilla was united in holy matrimony to the late Ulysses Grant Ellis.

Priscilla was employed at Power Transport in Memphis, TN. She was very dedicated and loved her job. Priscilla’s presence will be missed by her children and family.

Priscilla transitioned from this earth on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, in Senatobia, Mississippi.

Priscilla’s memories will  forever be cherished by her children: DyNesha Nelson of Memphis, TN,  Marquesha Nelson of Olive Branch, MS, Ucilla Ellis of Byhalia, MS, and Bobby Joe Manning. Jr. of Olive Branch, MS: one grandson that she cherished,  Kashun Nelson of Olive Branch, MS; a close friend, De metrie Leverson of Senatobia, MS: four sisters, Brodie Holts (Taurus) of Memphis, TN, Evelyn Denise Rayford (Randy) of Byhalia, MS,  Shanta Holts of Olive Branch, MS, and Betty Ann Richmond of Byhalia, MS: one god-sister,  Shelia Porter of Byhalia, MS; one brother, Darnell Davis of Byhalia, MS; two aunts, Mattie McKnuckle and Anna L. Wooten, both of Byhalia, MS; six uncles, Tracy Scruggs (Sherry) of Memphis, TN, Odell Scruggs (Karen) of Olive Branch, MS, Curtis Wooten (Barbara) of Memphis, TN, William B. Wooten (Sarah) of Olive Branch, MS, Winston Wooten (Dale) of Byhalia, MS, and Willie Scruggs (Jessie) of Byhalia, MS: one sister-in-law, Betty Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Stacy B. Martin, and Kendall Holts: grandmothers; Lucy Mac Scruggs and Brodie Wooten: grandfathers, Willie Scruggs and Winston Wooten, Sr.; uncles, Ricky Scruggs, John L. Scruggs, and Leopard Scales; one niece, Jacquenette “Jackie” White: and one nephew, Terrel Richmond.

Body will lie in state from 1:00 p.m. until  Service time at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, November 5. 2022, at Hearn Grove M.B. Church, 919 Deer Creek Road, Byhalia, MS
