Age 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 22, 2011. He was born March 21, 1933 in Rocester, IN the son of Ray and Louise Yeakley. Phillip was a member of St. Mary Cathedral in Lansing and is retired from Demmer Corporation after many years of service. He enjoyed camping with friends and attended the Indianapolis 500 for over 50 years. He married Mary (Belen) on November 22, 1974 and together shared over 37 years of marriage. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are wife, Mary; brother, David (Betty) Yeakley and 4 nephews and their families all of North Carolina; sisters-in-law Julia Whipple of Lansing and Helen Danielian of New Jersey; brothers-in-law James Belen and John Belen both of Lansing and Don (Linda) Belen of Holt; several cousins in Indiana.
