Phillip J. Pecaut, 72, of New Haven, MO passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014 at the Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO. Mr. Pecaut was born in Perryville, MO on March 15, 1942 to the son of the late Francis and Neomi Pecaut (nee Smith).
Phillip was the husband of Norma Pecaut (nee Aichholz). They were married on June 8, 1963 at the St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington. He is survived by one son Perry Pecaut and wife Connie of New Haven, One daughter Penny Pecaut-Ziglin and husband Ben of Washington, four brothers Dale Pecaut and wife Carol of Houston, Texas, David Pecaut and wife Marlene of Marthasville, Art Pecaut of New Haven, Randy Pecaut and wife Beth of Scottsboro, Alabama, four sisters Shari Panhorst and husband George of New Haven, Debbie Oberg and husband Darrel of New Haven, Tammy Donaldson and husband Greg of Washington, Julie Davis and husband Flynn of St. Charles, a sister-in-law Cindy Pecaut of Berger. Other survivors include grandchildren Kahlie Bland, Nicholas Mueller, Gracie, Garrett, and Gabrielle Ziglin, three great-grandchildren Lucas and Oliver Bland, and Evelyn Mueller. He was preceded in death by one sister Bonnie Vedder and one brother Tommy Pecaut.
Phillip owned and operated DACA Machine & Tool since 1975 and sold the business in 2008 to the Valent Aerostructures and has been retired since.
