He was a retired sheet metal worker who also was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a wife, Mildred and a daughter, Michelle. Surviving are his son Philip E. (Linda) Koelzer, Jr. of Dimondale; daughter, Nadyne (Jim) Foley of Belmont, MI; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
