Peggy Jane Smith of Denton, MD, formerly of Felton, DE, died Thursday, December 22, 2016, at the Bayhealth Medical Center in Dover. She was 72 years old. Born in Boston, MA on March 14, 1944, Ms. Smith was the daughter of the late Joshua William Smith and Sophie Madeline Stanley Smith. She was a loving mother and homemaker. Ms. Smith is survived by three daughters: Sophie Davis of Dover, DE, Stella Cooper of Laurel, DE, and Diana Vilone of Marydel, MD; 8 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
