Peggy Ann (Callahan) Olson, 51, of Round Pond, passed away at her home on the morning of August 8th after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Damariscotta on January 27, 1962, she was the daughter of Richard and Bethiah (Steer) Callahan. Peggy grew up, and attended school, in Bristol before graduating from Lincoln Academy in 1980. She would go on to attend CMVTI in Auburn, and for many years she worked as a CNA at Cove’s Edge in Damariscotta. For the last year of her life, she had been working in the Meat Department at Yellowfront Grocery – a job she really loved. She enjoyed knitting, cross stitching, and had recently gotten into quilting.
