Thomas, Pauline J. Pauline was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 18, 1920. She died peacefully at her long- term residence at Meridian Manor on October 15, 2013. She was 93 years old. Pauline graduated from High School in Des Moines, Iowa and then attended Northwestern University where she graduated with a BA degree in 1941. Pauline married Dean Thomas, also from Des Moines, in 1942 and when he returned from WWII they moved to Wayzata, MN where they remained until their respective deaths. Pauline and Dean were married for 66 years, until his death in 2009. Pauline was also preceded in death by her parents, Winnie and Virgil Nutt, and her brother’s, Virgil and Paul. Pauline is survived by her daughter, Paula Thomas Huddy (husband Michael); son, Jeffrey Dean Thomas (fiance, Corrie Wegner); grandson, Travis Michael Huddy (wife Marsha); granddaughter, Tracy Thomas Huddy; nephew, Dean Irwin (wife Audrey); niece, Cindy Converse (husband Craig); niece, Nancy Farris (husband Tom); and, sister-in-law, Betty Nutt.
