Pauline passed away at the Mother Teresa House in Lansing on April 17, 2012 at the age of 97. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles E. and May G. (McClelland) McCauley, brothers Jac, Del, and David (Bud) and sisters Helen and Ruth; her husband, Russell E. Sweet and son Richard L. Sweet. She is survived by her children, sons: Charles (Billie) of Dayton, OH and Thomas (Judy) of Trout Lake; daughter Susanne (Thom) Little of Portland and daughter-in-law, Mary (Richard) of Grand Haven; ten grandchildren also survive her as do twenty great grandchildren and 3 three great great grandchildren. Pauline was born on July 18, 1914 in Loring, Iowa. She moved to Fremont, Michigan at an early age then later to Lansing. Pauline attended Eastern High School, where she met and later married her soul-mate, Russ on June 11, 1934. She worked for the State of Michigan for many years, is support of our school lunch programs. In retirement, she and Russ lived on Webber Dam Pond, near Portland.
