Paul John Sikich was born in Valley City, North Dakota on February 5th, 1960. He graduated from Mt. Iron High School in 1978. Paul loved gardening and nature, especially walking in the woods during partridge hunting season. He enjoyed talking with his friends over a beer at the Legion in Mt. Iron. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. His nephew, Curtiss Tamarro, was especially dear to his heart.
Paul passed away at St Mary’s Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota from complications of emphysema and lung cancer. He went peacefully with his sister, Jane Witz, by his side on February 6th, 2023 at 1:56 p.m. St. Mary’s staff are so kind and helpful to our family and Paul. We are very grateful.
Paul is survived by sisters, Jane (Jerrold) Witz and Judy Sikich (Peter Skaudis); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his father, John Sikich; and his mother, Jyll Moore.
