Paul Edward Griffin, 79, of Steelville, Missouri passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 at his home in Steelville, MO. He was born June 17, 1928 in Doniphan, Missouri to Eugene and Ethel (Edwards) Griffin. On September 30, 2001, he was united in marriage to Betty Kimberlin who survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Dale Griffin and wife Vickie of Springfield, MO, Lindell Griffin and wife Chris of MO, two daughters, Myrna Trent and husband Ronnie of Camdenton, MO and Vickie Griffin of MO, one step-son, Scott Kimberlin and wife Marti of Farmington, MO, two step-daughters, Gayle Overby and husband Jerry of Festus, MO and Barbara Webb of Texas, one step-daughter-in-law, Kathy Kimberlin of Washington, MO, one brother, Adrian Griffin of Van Buren, MO, two sisters, Fern Engles of Portland, OR and Imogene Nickles of Washington state, one special grand-daughter, Tina Kaniezay and husband Rod of Bowling Green, MO, a special caregiver, Margaret Smith of Corpus Christi, TX, 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and 13 step-great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. His parents, five brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Paul was retired from McDonald Douglas Corp. with over thirty plus years. He was a loyal lifetime member of the Church of Christ and a present member of the Cuba Church of Christ where he had been an Elder and songleader for many years. Paul was a charter member of the Ozark Trail Blazers and loved horseback riding and raising fox trotters. Paul donated to an orphange in Paragoul, Arkansas and donated his time and talents to the Golden Echos in Steelville. He was very giving man and always willing to help anyone who needed it. Paul never met a stranger and had a smile for everyone. Paul loved his wife, children, grandchildren, and dearly accepted and loved his step-children and step-grandchildren as his own.
