Paul “Asbed” Aramian, 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 10, 2023. His wife Marge (Marguerite) of 59 years was by his side at the time of death.

Paul was born on October 18, 1932 to Garabed and Teshkouhi Aramian in Highland Park, MI.  After graduating from Highland Park High School, he attended Wayne State University. Paul worked in the banking industry for 37 years and retired from Comerica Bank in 1992 as a Vice President Senior Community Banking Officer.

Paul and Marge have two children – son Scott (Julie) Aramian and daughter Gabrielle (Jay) Boger. Paul was especially proud of his grandchildren – Sydney, Jacob, Michael, Cameron, and Ella.

Paul loved all sports, but baseball was very special, even having spent time playing the position of catcher. He enjoyed golfing with family and friends, and always looked forward to the annual Manufacturers Bank Alumni golf tournaments.  As a retiree, Paul enjoyed his daily coffee hour with his buddies.  Paul made friends wherever he went. He always had a smile and a positive outlook towards life.  His grandkids have described their grandpa as kind, caring, selfless, dedicated, and a joy to be around. Paul was a motivator and often supported others with words of wisdom, especially when it came to education, work ethic, finances, and where to shop for the best deals. He always wanted the best for everyone he knew. Paul was proud of his Armenian heritage and enjoyed eating Armenian food, his grilled hot peppers, and of course his well-done coney dogs (with extra onions and heavy chili). You would often find Paul singing or humming to his favorite Frank Sinatra or Louis Armstrong songs.

Paul was an amazing soul with a big heart who built unforgettable relationships with all who crossed his path.

THANK YOU
