Patti, age 68 passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2023.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas White; her son Goldie (Stacey) Peters; grandsons, Goldie, Abraham, and Zike Peters; daughter Tawaana (Jason) Thomas, granddaughters Jameka, Aarinne, and Raeya; sisters Terri (John) Thomas and Christi Zike, along with many other relatives and friends.
Patricia Lynn Zike was born October 20,1954 in Alton, Illinois to the proud parents Golden and Patricia Zike who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, ML “Pete” Peters.
Patti dedicated her life to teaching in the Ferguson/Florissant School District at Walnut Grove Elementary School for over 30 years. It was here she met countless lifelong friends, including her twin Kathy Rose Shelton, Sue Good, and Judy Bruce.
There wasn’t a person who met Patti that did not love her.
