Patricia Ann Labombarde, 60, of Waldoboro, died Sunday evening, May 18, 2014 at the Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta. She was born on August 9, 1953 in Nashua, New Hampshire, the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Cora L. (Landry) Labombarde. Patty was raised in a military family, and together they travelled throughout the United States and Europe. She attended elementary schools in Germany and Fort Dix, New Jersey; and Jr. and Sr. High School in Nashua, NH. Patty enjoyed antiques and collectibles. She loved going to flea markets, thrift stores and yard sales with her sister and sister in-laws – or anyone else who would go with her. She held several jobs in her lifetime, however she enjoyed being a Home Health Care provider the most, caring for her elderly clients. She was preceded in death by her parents of Nashua, NH. Patty is survived by her brother, Bill Labombarde and his wife Karen of Friendship; her sister, Phyllis Labombarde and her boyfriend Kent Terrio of Harrison; and her brother, Wayne Labombarde and his wife Brenda of Searsport; and fifteen nieces and nephews. Although Patty was not married, and never had children of her own, she loved being around her family and enjoyed the time she spent being around her nieces and nephews. Patty was a free spirit and was considered by many to be a hippie from the Woodstock era. She traveled all around the country and had great stories to share whenever she returned from one of her adventures – Patty never met a stranger and tried to find the good in everyone. She enjoyed living in the Bar Harbor area the most and will truly be missed by all who knew her.
