Olive Adell Feeler passed away on January 17, 2008 at Rolla, Missouri. She was 92 years and 6 months of age.

Olive was born on July 7, 1915 in Vichy, Missouri to her parents; Jeremiah and Mamie (Hart) Hodge. She was united in marriage to Herbert E. “Hub” Feeler on December 23, 1932 in Rolla, Missouri.

Olive was very good homemaker. She and her husband Hub was a lifelong resident of the Vichy community. She moved to the farm where she lives now in 1933 and has lived there ever since. They owned and operated the original family farm that has been in the family since 1865 when Hubs grandfather Archibald purchased it from the government. The orginal patent signed by President Clarence Buchanan still remains in the family’s archives.

Olive is survived by three sons: T.J. Feeler and wife Lynn of Sikeston, Missouri; Norman Feeler and wife JoAnn of St. James, Missouri; and Warren Feeler and wife Joyce of Fenton, Missouri; one brother: Gerald Hodge of South Carolina; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding Oliva in death are her parents: Jeremiah and Mamie (Hart) Hodge; husband: Herbert E. “Hub” Feeler on June 18, 1996; one daughter: Alma A. Feeler in February, 1955; one brother; Chalmer Hodge; and two sisters: Miza Berry and Minnie Atwell.
