Oda Matilda Snyder, 88, of New Haven, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at New Haven Care Center.
Mrs. Snyder was born in Washington, Missouri on March 9, 1924, the daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes (Brinker) Terschluse.
She was the widow of Arthur L. Snyder. They were married January 16, 1943 at Union, MO. Arthur preceded her in death on February 8, 2011.
Oda was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary both of Sedalia, Missouri. She worked for over 10 years at Hazel Corp in Washington, MO and she was a homemaker.
Oda is survived by a daughter Carol M. LaRose & husband Larry of New Haven, Missouri, a son Ronald W. Snyder & wife Sylvia of Moyock, North Carolina, daughter Susan J. Eichholz & husband Richard of Villa Ridge, Missouri, son William A. Snyder & wife Susan of Washington, Missouri, and son Thomas G. Snyder of Otterville, Missouri, three sisters Eunice Leuhrs, Janette Finder and Ruth Meyer all of Washington, Missouri and four brothers Clifford Terschluse of St. Charles, Missouri, Raymond Terschluse of St. Peters, Missouri, Alfred Terschluse of Washington, Missouri and Victor Terschluse of Krakow, Missouri and by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers Sylvester & Kenneth Terschluse, a sister Lois Schlitt and a grandchild Joshua Eichholz.
