She was the wife of Donald E. Strong who passed away in 1997. She was born in Salam, West Virginia on January 6, 1924 to Homer and Vada Hutson. The family moved to York, PA in 1930. She was educated in Central York School District. She worked as a seamstress and floor manager for Bernstein Manufacturing in MT. Wolf, PA until she retired in 1965.
She loved crocheting, WWF wrestling, making candy, Sprint Car Racing, and spending time with family.
She is survived by One daughter; Donna Gagnon and her husband Henry of New Gloucester. Four grandchildren, James Bear and wife Shawna, Douglas Bear and wife Kristina, Penny Leonard and William Gagnon. 8 Great Grandchildren, Caleb, Kayla, Trevor, Dylan, Dustin, Dillan, Cole, and MacKenzie. 6 Great-Great Grandchildren. One sister, Roberta Snyder of Dover, PA. She was Predeceased by her parents, husband Donald and 2 brothers; Conard and Willard (Lynn) Hutson.
