Myrtle D. Pearson went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2007 with her family by her side at the Roseau Area Hospital. Myrtle, the daughter of Alfreda (Eklund) and Duffen Dahl, was born on February 19, 1920 in Falun Township of Roseau County, MN. She attended school in rural Falun and later Roseau. She and Raymond Pearson were married on February 19, 1937. They farmed in the Falun area before moving to International Falls, MN. They moved back to the Salol area in 1951. Myrtle worked at Marvin Windows and Polaris Industries. She was a wonderful cook and baker. No one ever left her house hungry. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Pearson of Salol, MN; daughter, Jean (Norbert Bragg) Galusha-Bragg of International Falls, MN; 2 grandchildren, Douglas (Kathy) and Michael (Barb); 4 great-grandchildren, Jackie, Paul, Jodi and Cody; 4 great-great-grandchildren, Audrey, William, Trevor and Megan; and a sister, Harriet Naslund.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Albin, Nels, Edith, Victor, Clara, Agnes, Marvin, Hilda, Dennis, Russell, Evelyn and Harry; and a son-in-law, Jack Galusha.
